1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They help websites remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don’t have to re-enter your credentials on every page.

Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or access files on your device. Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can configure your browser to decline or delete them (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Cookies

Nyay360 uses cookies in a limited and purposeful way. We do not use:

  • Advertising or ad-targeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Third-party behavioural analytics that build profiles of individual users

Our cookie use is limited to what is necessary for authentication and basic platform operation.

3. Essential & Authentication Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. You cannot use the authenticated features of Nyay360 without them.

Cookie NamePurposeDurationType

sb-* (Supabase)Authentication state managed by Supabase Auth for account sessions.Session / variesHttpOnly, Secure
Authentication cookies are marked HttpOnly and Secure, meaning they cannot be accessed by JavaScript and are only transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

4. Analytics & Performance Cookies

We may use anonymised, aggregated analytics to understand how users interact with the Platform (e.g., which features are most used, which pages generate errors). Where analytics tools are used:

  • Data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form — not linked to individual users
  • No advertising profiles or cross-site tracking are created
  • IP addresses are anonymised before storage
  • We do not use Google Analytics third-party cookies or Facebook Pixel

If we introduce any new analytics tools in the future, this policy will be updated with specific details before they are deployed.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with their components:

  • Stripe — When you initiate a payment, Stripe's payment interface may set cookies for fraud prevention and payment session management. These are essential for processing your payment. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy.
  • Vercel — Our hosting provider may set performance and edge-caching cookies for platform delivery. These are technical and do not track individual user behaviour.

We have no control over third-party cookies. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of each third party if you have concerns.

6. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling essential cookies will break authentication

If you disable or delete authentication cookies, you will be logged out of the Platform and will need to log in again. Some Platform features will not work without cookies enabled.

Disabling analytics cookies (if any) will not affect your ability to use the Platform’s core features.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our cookie practices or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
